During the visit, EquaVita accesses the property and completes a streamlined observation of key areas. The visit is documented with applicable photographs and written observations so you have a record of what was observed on that scheduled date.

What to expect:

A focused Home Watch visit covering readily visible exterior and interior areas, including key entry areas, accessible rooms, thermostat, refrigerator/freezer, and accessible mechanical or utility areas. EquaVita observes for visible water or property concerns, unusual sounds, alarms, and other apparent conditions that may require your attention. Applicable photographs and written observations are included in your visit documentation.

What to expect:

A more detailed Home Watch visit with broader observation of accessible exterior and interior areas. This includes visible exterior conditions, doors and windows, interior rooms, temperature and humidity readings where available, key home systems, kitchens, bathrooms, and readily visible signs of water, pests, weather-related conditions, unusual sounds, or odours. Applicable photographs and observations are documented in your visit report.

This tier builds on the Essential Watch service with additional observation of seasonal conditions, household areas, appliances, utility areas, and other property-specific items included in the visit checklist.

What to expect:

An expanded Home Watch visit with additional attention to seasonal conditions, plumbing and water-related areas, mechanical and utility spaces, appliances, electrical-panel areas, exterior surroundings, and other accessible property areas. EquaVita documents applicable observations and photographs, including visible conditions that may require your attention.

What to expect:

A comprehensive Home Watch visit that includes the Tier 2 observation scope plus selected, homeowner-authorized convenience activities. Depending on your selections, this may include mail and package collection, designated lighting or blind adjustments, vehicle observation, and pre-arrival home readiness tasks. Completed observations and authorized activities are documented as applicable.

Tier 4 is designed for estates, acreages, lake properties, multi-structure homes, and properties with unique layouts or specific documentation requirements.

Instead of choosing from a fixed checklist, EquaVita works with you to establish a property-specific Home Watch plan based on the areas and requirements that matter most to you.

EquaVita Home Watch provides scheduled visual observation, documentation, reporting, and specifically authorized convenience and coordination services. We can coordinate repairs, maintenance, trade work, cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, system diagnostics or certification, vehicle operation, or other activities requiring a qualified, third-party provider. When something falls outside our approved scope, we document the condition or request, communicate it to you and follow your direction.

EquaVita Home Watch is not a security, surveillance, patrol or alarm-response service. Coordinated repairs, maintenance and trade work are carried out by qualified third-party providers, not by EquaVita.
